David Winter will soon take a step back from his role as general manager of Jensen UK. Over the past four years, Winter has successfully led Jensen operations in Banbury, managing sales and service activities across the UK, Ireland, and South Africa. With more than 40 years of experience in the laundry industry – 25 of them with the Jensen-Group – Winter has been instrumental in the success of the ensen-Group. Winter will continue to work on a part-time basis, supporting the sales team at Jensen UK and ensuring a smooth transition to his successor, Laurent Maillard.
Laurent Maillard will take over as general manager on 1 June. Maillard holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanics & Aeronautics from ISAE-ENSMA in Poitiers, France, and brings extensive experience to this role. Maillard began his career as an R&D Engineer at CEA, a leading French research organisation, and later worked at Renault and Adecco before joining Elis in 2008.
At Elis, Maillard managed 440 laundries across Europe and South America as industrial and real estate operations director, overseeing new builds from land acquisition to commissioning. Following a four-year break from the laundry industry (2020-2024) as technical director for a real estate company, Maillard is excited to return to the laundry industry.
