All profits from the event will be given to the Benevolent Fund, which helps former employees of the textile care industry who are now in need of assistance.
The event will again include a charity auction and Chris Shepherd, LCN’s advertisement manager and Whitsters convener, has agreed to act as auctioneer. The first event raised a total of £780, with the auction alone bringing in over £350. The club hopes that this second event will be even more successful.
