The Boilersoft 2000 computer-controlled water softener from Controlled Flame Boilers allows laundries in hard water areas to manager their water supply efficiently and accurately.

The softener has built-in memory monitors which measure and remember the amount of water used on a day-by-day basis so that it can match supply to varying requirements throughout the day.

It can also adjust to changing patterns by, for example, regenerating early during busy periods. Computer operation means that the timing control has no analogue parts, reducing the need for maintenance.

The regeneration process starts from the bottom of the tank so that the cleaner resin at the top is kept free from deposits, avoiding waste of salt and water through unnecessary regeneration.

The machine also has a dynamic brine-making system that adds the required amount of softened water to the salt tank so that sufficient brine is available to restore the system to full capacity.

The action of the water flowing through the salt during regeneration creates the right saturation level needed for proper recharging of the resin.

The Boilersoft is equipped with a touch/reset button-operated LCD. This provides diagnostic information, including time, water flow rates, hardness settings, the percentage of softened water remaining as well as regeneration.

The system is protected from power failure with a permanent programmed memory. The clock also has a rechargeable reserve power supply to provide back-up power for over 48 hours.
