Generation 3000 washer extractor is a great success at the stately home, Hartwell House which has been converted into a hotel.Magnificent Hartwell House, near Aylesbury, is the first site in the UK to use a Generation 3000 washer extractor and the laundry staff have been extremely pleased with its performance. The machine, which has been in use in the main laundry, has made such an impression that when there was a possibility that it would be moved to the hotel’s spa laundry a member of staff threatened to chain herself to it to prevent it being moved.

Laundry Supervisor, Elaine Miller says “We have had this machine in the laundry for about six weeks and have found it very simple to use. The control panel is very clear and operating the machine and loading and unloading is very easy too. And yes, when there was a possibility that the machine might be moved to the spa laundry last week, I did say that I would chain myself to it to prevent it being moved.” The Generation 3000 W3130H washer extractor is used to wash table linen, bed linen, chef’s whites, towels and cloths and can be in operation for up to eight hours each day.

The hotel has recently fully re-equipped with Electrolux equipment, having operated an Electrolux laundry for many years.

Restored by Historic House Hotels, Hartwell House is a stately home standing in 90 acres of landscaped parkland. It has 46 bedrooms and suites, a restaurant and spa. It is a member of a group which includes Bodysgallen Hall, Cadogen Hotel and Middlethorpe Hall in York. All are five star hotels, and all operate Electrolux laundries
