WashClub, the New York-based on-demand laundry and drycleaning delivery service has officially opened a new branch in Akron, Ohio. The venture is owned and operated by lifetime Akron resident Brenda Schwarz.
WashClub chose Akron for their new market launch based on the city’s ever-growing community of busy professionals and businesses. As Akron currently counts over 50 universities including Kent State and University of Akron, the launch provides an opportunity for WashClub to reach college students and professors, who are often struggling with busy schedules and complicated time-management.
Laundry customers will be able request a pickup in one of the company’s region-specific websites or through the company’s mobile app. A WashClub professional will pick-up, deliver and return freshly cleaned and neatly folded laundry and drycleaning within 24 to 48 hours.
WashClub is currently available in 15 states.
