The Textile Services Association (TSA) National Congress is ready for business on 5 February at the Harbour Hotel in Southampton. The TSA reports it is its largest ever Congress with more than 33 laundry companies represented.As well as a record number of delegates, the conference also welcomes keynote speaker Harry Redknapp, legendary former professional footballer and Premier League manager as keynote speaker.

His career in football spanned a remarkable 52 years, during which he played 279 times and managed in 1,400 games. Since retiring from the world of football, He has become a popular face on our screens, working as a pundit on national and international football competitions and appearing on celebrity and entertainment shows, most notably taking part in ITV’s  ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here’ in which he was crowned King of the Jungle. 

Redknapp is also a columnist for The Guardian and has published four books. He is a prominent charity supporter and works with a range of good causes. A passionate and enthusiastic speaker, his vast experience has provided him with in-depth knowledge of leadership tactics, teamwork and achieving goals. His insight into life is enlightening, thanks to the peaks and troughs of his long standing career, and he will speak openly about adversity, determination and ambition.

Attendees will also get the chance to hear from Mohammed Qahtani, the 2015 world champion of public speaking, six times TEDx Speaker, a certified trainer and coach and given more than 1,000 speeches in over 45 countries. He became the first Muslim, the first Arab and the first Saudi Arabian to win the Toastmaster International of Public Speaking, surviving seven rounds of competition over six months and included 33,000 competitors from around the world.

Growing up, Qahtani suffered from severe stuttering but was able to overcome it by facing his fears and performing on stage. He’s passionate about public speaking and stand up comedy and has participated in conferences around the world where he inspires people to chase their dreams. Qahtani delivers inspirational workshops and talks on topics ranging from leadership, positivity and empowerment in the workplace, to the art of negotiation and using powerful words when speaking.
