USA
Thursday, 16 March 16 sees TRSA, the North America trade association for the linen rental industry, launch a new series of virtual seminars a addressing the procedures involved in building a new plant. Over three sessions, attendees can compare Arway Linen and Uniform Rental Service’s early stages of planning to replace their legacy facility with tactics others may have used or contemplated to re-engineer their own businesses.

In this, the first of three instalments, Arway shares its processes, and attendees will benefit from discussion with other linen and uniform service operators doing the same.

Arway decided that starting with a blank piece of paper and hitting the drawing board was the only way to sustain growth. Learn how the company reached this conclusion and join industry peers in discussing and contrasting the business conditions they faced and the methods to thrive they chose accordingly.

Session one of the new virtual series addresses:

• Finding the right building

• Assembling outside experts: architecture, engineering, contractors, and industry-specific

• Envisioning and modifying a floor plan for maximum productivity

• Estimating costs and availability of equipment

• Working with lenders

• Setting the timetable

The "Ready to Launch" session will be presented by Mario Stagilano and Mark Harad-Oaks of Arway Linen and Uniform Rental Service.
