TRSA, the trade association for linen rental businesses in North America, has announced its return to Canada for the 5th Canadian Summit and Plant Tours, scheduled for 29-30 October at the Intercontinental Toronto Center.
The summit will feature a keynote address by Paul Zikopoulos, a renowned future trends expert and VP of technology group skills vitality & enablement at IBM. His keynote address “Generative AI – The Good, The Bad and the ChatGPT”, will delve into AI’s potential applications in the linen, uniform, and facility services industry. Following the keynote, Zikopoulos will lead an interactive small-group workshop, “Applying AI to Your Business”.
Other notable sessions include:
- Creating a Safety Culture: Fire Prevention by Brian Varner, owner and founder of Safety Solutions.
- Leveraging Your Communications Strategy for Success by Michele Cadario, CE Vanguard Strategy Inc.
- Rethinking the Sales Funnel by Understanding & Mapping Your Customer Journey led by Rebecca Dutcher, president of RED66 Marketing.
Additionally, Nick Koolsbergen and Michele Cadario from Wellington Advocacy will join Kevin Schwalb, TRSA vice president of government relations, for a Canadian regulatory and legislative update. The summit will conclude with interactive roundtables, allowing attendees to delve deeper into topics such as communications, advocacy, safety, and marketing, facilitated by the day’s speakers.
The event will wrap up on 30 October with exclusive plant tours, offering attendees a behind-the-scenes look at two Toronto-based plants.
