Gill Sunter will head up the sales office and assist with key accounts, and Janet Wilcock will take charge of Tonrose’s hotel and wholesale division.

Both had previously worked for Hilden Manufacturing, Sunter for 13 years and Wilcock for 10 years.

Tonrose sales and marketing director Gillian Saxon said both appointments had been a direct result of the company’s success in boosting sales and its market share.

She said this performance was due to three factors: top quality products, innovative sales solutions for “partner” customers and an unparalleled level of stock services to all customers. The company had invested in extensive warehousing where it held finished stock valued at £2.7million.
