The annual Society of Hospital Linen Suppliers and Laundry Managers (SHLSLM) forum is a key event for NHS and commercial laundry and linen services professionals.
At the recent forum in Stratford-upon-Avon, Anna Pangbourne, chief executive at the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust (FTCT) highlighted the charity’s financial support for families who work in the British fashion and textile sector – this includes laundry sector employees. The charity is already working with a range of laundry companies including Johnsons, Micronclean, CLEAN, Jacksons Workwear and Aberdeen Laundry.
When Theo and Tyler’s bed was damaged, Emma drew on the support of an FTCT grant after hearing about the charity though her work at Clean Linen Services. If you have any doubts how important the charity can be to the families it helps, check out Emma’s story ‘Emma Theo and Tyler the big bed reveal’
