SWEDEN
The Swedish Textile Services Association, Sveriges Tvätteriförbund, is on the cusp of its Autumn meeting which takes place in Malmö, Sweden on 17 November. According to Daniel Kärrholt, , CEO of  Sveriges Tvätteriförbund, at least 150 textile care professionals will descend on the Hotel Scandic Triangen in the heart of the city to catch up and define the way forward for the industry.

Guest speaker at the event is Alf Svensson, a former chairman of the Christian Democrats, minister, MP and MEP. Rickard Gegö CEO Sveriges Åkeriföretag, the Swedish Association of Road Transport Companies will also be presenting alongside Christer Backer, energy advisor for The Swedish Textile Service Association.

Spots by other speakers focusing on the circular economy, microplastics and upcycling as well as other sustainability topics indicate the meeting will be much concerned with environmental and energy saving issues.
