Christeyns has revamped its high-tech fabric softener Bisoft Perla with a new perfume and improved formula, says the company. Releasing a fresh citrus and bergamot aroma and easy to dose, Bisoft Perla is aimed at all types of laundries.
The development of Christeyn’s ‘Encapsulated Fragrance Delivery Technology’ allows the aroma to remain for an extended period of time due to perfume containing microcapsules which have the ability to adhere to the fibre and break once the textile is handled, providing sustained perfume release.
Christeyns says it has overcome the problem that perfumes are typically volatile and tend to be lost during processing at high temperature or during use. However, Bisoft Perla will release intense aroma of citrus and bergamot whenever the end-user touches or rubs the textile softly.
The product works particularly well with towels and bathrobes, providing a softer and fresher finish and Crhisteyns is targeting spa and wellness facilities, luxury hotels and B&Bs, which it believes will benefit from providing customers with textiles that hold an intense and long-lasting fragrance.
Christeyns hs improved the composite formula of Bisoft Perla to provide optimal dosing, increasing the fluiditidy of the fabric softener and thus making it easier to dose. Bisoft Perla is available in cans (20kg), drums (190 kg) and containers (900kg).
