SoCom, the European specialist software supplier for the textile services industry reports that the company continues to expand its international business activities and has succeeded in selling its Tikos system, a laundry software solutions for laundries and the textile rental business, in the Middle East.

Linencraft is the "laundry" department of Emirates Flight Catering and has a production capacity of 210 tons per day, making Linencraft one of the largest service providers in the Middle East. Linencraft already has four facilities in Dubai and more are planned to service several sectors of the market within the United Arab Emirates such as the airline, hospitality and healthcare.

After having verified several software systems, Linencraft opted for SoCom’s software. In addition, SoCom’s Tekas system provides control of the delivery and pickup process of work clothes of all Emirates employees across the group.

"Our sales activities on site have been very exciting due to the challenging demands of the laundries,” said Michael Wieser, SoCom international sales manager. “The Middle East is a very interesting market to us. German products and know-how are very popular."
