With the demise of the FCRA, Satra is providing textile services to its former clients.

Sketchley, the holding company for a chain of drycleaning outlets, is just one of the companies that needed help when the receivers were called in at FCRA’s Harrogate premises.

Jim Lowe, technical director of Minit UK, parent company of the Sketchley chain of drycleaners said he was disappointed at the demise of FCRA but has been delighted with the response from Satra.

“The company has helped us keep the business ticking over with Christine Richardson and her team providing a rapid response to our needs.” Satra has a well-equipped testing technology centre offering industry garment analysis, product evaluation and training to the textile industry.

The company recently hosted a two-day training course for Duval and Böwe where delegates were brought up to date with the latest developments in solvent and machine technology.
