The results are expected to benefit about 20,000 small- and medium-sized European entrepreneurs working in the PPE sector.

The three-year “Wash and Load” project will take place under the supervision of the international textile care association Cinet. It has a budget of Euros1.8millions and involves 14 project partners from five different European countries.

Cinet says the project will aim to develop a system that takes into account both the technical and chemical characteristics of the PPE clothing. Monitoring and tracking systems will follow the processes and an information and communication system will be used to monitor the end results.
