Established in 1976, Besafe has a strong established brand in south east England and its portfolio include Moldex respirators, Drager safety, DeWalt footwear and Dickies.
It also provides an industrial laundering service for high-visibility clothing, leather/PVC gloves, flame-retardant clothing, general workwear, and train seat-covers. These services will be incorporated into the PHS Hiviz brand.
Managing director of PHS Hiviz, Lynne Vanes, said: “The acquisition of Besafe takes us further into the health and safety market with a huge new array of products, as well as strengthening the Hiviz position in the specialist industrial cleaning market.
