Henkel-Ecolab’s purDos system offers the benefits of auto-dosing to smaller operations such OPLs in homes, hospitals and hotels.
Quick and simple, to install the system needs only a 15mm cold water supply and a standard 13A socket located close to the washers. No electrical or mechanical connections are involved, so the doser can be fitted without interrupting the production schedule.
Pushbutton controls start the dosing process with the pre-wash and a moisture sensor in the detergent hopper ensures that the main-wash detergent is delivered at the right time. Doses are pre-programmed, but a manual override allows adjustments to be made when necessary.
The system is designed to be used with Purwash Universal, a paste detergent suitable for both general use and low temperature washing and claimed to be particularly effective on fat stains and greying. The concentrated formula, together with the dosing accuracy means that the purDos system typically uses half the amounts required by powder and liquid systems.
Purwash meets environmental standards, being both chlorine and phosphate free and containing no corrosive or flammable materials. It also meets and exceeds EU washing and cleaning detergent biodegradability requirements.
