Observatoire de l’Entretie des Textiles 2010, organised by Entretien-Magazine, will include overviews of statistics and trends for the textile care market and the macro-economic trends in France, as well a comprehensive examination of the individual sectors.

Bernard Jouannaud, of Associé gérant de BJC Développement Santé, will examine the latest statistics for textile rental, drycleaning and launderette markets.

The session on the Evolution of the Hospital Laundry Sector will include presentations by Thierry Desenzani, president of hospital laundry association and Michel Pages of UNEA, the laundry section of the handicapped workers association.

Thomas Labrunye, CEO of the private laundry, Bulle de Linge, will talk about developing a service for personal garments in nursing homes in which his company has worked with textile rental groups.

The conference will also discuss the HPST legislation, which will reorganise the French health system (public and private sectors) on a regional basis.

Serges Charles, the textile buyer of Accor group, will explain the group’s environmental strategy and its impact on textiles and laundry.

Philippe Chaizemartin, commercial manager of Ecolab France, will explain the development of sustainable laundering.
