The existing guidelines for the OEKO-TEX product portfolio have been amended for 2019, further reinforcing consumer protection and sustainability along the value creation chain for textiles and leather.
The new regulations will come into effect after a three-month transition period on 1 April 2019.
The International Association for Research and Testing in the Field of Textile and Leather Ecology (OEKO-TEX) is a union of 18 independent textile research and test institutes in Europe and Japan and their worldwide representative offices.
