Dear sir
I am taking the unprecedented step of writing this personal letter to you on a matter of importance to your readers. Warner Howard Laundry Division is deeply concerned about the misleading and unsubstantiated claims currently being made by JLA, for whom we have the utmost respect as a competitor.
JLA is continuing to imply that it has the only washing machine on the market that complies with the `Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS). This is not so. Primus washers from Warner Howard, together with many other suppliers’ equipment are also approved.
Since the WRAS handbook has not been reprinted for some time these machines are not listed there.
However, they will be in the next issue.
It further concerns us that JLA is making some bold statements about its business such as:
“JLA is the world’s biggest distributor of commercial laundry equipment” and “JLA dominates supply in the care market.”
It would be interesting to see such claims justified.
In the interests of providing your readers with up-to-date and accurate information I recommend that you check these claims before you consider printing them.
