NewGen International, the Middle East’s largest commercial laundry management service International has launched its Sleepeasy RFID-tagged Laundry Care Package to the region’s hotel, leisure and hospitality markets.
This special service uses RFID technology to identify linen and towels to improve the monitoring of laundry stock flow and to allow data to be collected to improve inventory and asset management. It is just one of a range of services designed to provide added value to Middle East customers.
NewGen, run by British entrepreneurs David and Robert Stevens, is part of the UK based Paragon family of companies. It works with global brands in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, as well as in the UK, and has ambitious plans to further develop the Middle East market. It recently opened an office in Dubai, which will become the support hub for its network of laundries as well as a range of associated laundry services for prospective clients in the hotel, leisure and hospitality markets.
It has also been developing "the world’s most environmentally sustainable laundry" which is expected to open in Abu Dhabi in February 2014.
