The Oeko-Tex Association has published two updated supplements on personal protective equipment as part of its Oeko-Tex Standard 100 product portfolio.
They are an updated version of the already existing supplement for “Special Articles”, and a new supplement for “Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Materials for PPE (as well as for military garments and uniforms comparable with PPE)”.
The Standard 100 Supplement for “Special Articles” was extensively revised during the development of the “PPE” supplement. This supplement is valid for such special articles that do not represent a “traditional” product within the application area of Standard 100. These include children’s pushchairs, suitcases, rucksacks, orthopaedic articles, curtain kits, chairs and couches.
