Signatrol, the data logging experts, has launched SL60 dLog, a new range of low cost, miniature button-style temperature loggers, some of which are designed for commercial laundries and cleaners supplying healthcare settings to ensure washes reach effective thermal disinfection temperatures and so meet ISO EN14065 standards.

Healthcare laundries can now use Signatrol’s SL63T miniature data loggers to validate their washing machine sterilisation. The data loggers are used inside the washing machine drum to record the temperatures throughout the laundry cycle.

These discrete, re-usable mini temperature data loggers fit many applications, with temperature ranges from -40°C to +125°C with and to ensure validation of the sterilisation process, accuracy to ±0.2°C.

The SL63T data loggers can be supplied with UKAS traceable or accredited calibration certificates ensuring that the sterilisation process can be verified.

The PC operating software, TempIT 5, is available as a free download whilst a professional version (TempIT 5-Pro), with additional features, is available at a small cost. It is also available as a Dongle version. The software uses a User/Administrator model for enhanced security and flexibility.
Communication to the data logger is provided by the latest NFC technology, meaning the loggers can be added to the wash cycle many times without any compromise on data accuracy – essential not just for meeting the ISO standard but for ensuring that the washing process has been done in accordance with the requirements. Saved records can be archived to record that the correct temperatures have been achieved and sustained according to the standards.

All members of the dLog family have a typical battery life of over two years depending upon sample rate and operating temperatures. A warning is given if the battery is running low but data can even still be accessed if the battery is exhausted.

Signatrol is offering the new SL60 in a starter kit including either two or five data loggers of your choice, TempIT5-Pro Microsoft Windows Application software, SL60-READER NFC reader and an individual three-point UKAS traceable calibration certificate at default points (A version only).
