As this first phase of the management buyout is completed, Group MD Victor Ward has confirmed his plan to retire and Bruce McHardy, formerly deputy managing director, succeeds him leading an expanded board comprising commercial director Tennant Hilditch, finance director Roddy Mackay, Tony Lochery as chairman plus Michael Jones and Donald Campbell who join as divisional directors for Cupar and Perth.

Business has grown steadily since the original management buy out in 2004, with turnover increasing from £21.2million to £25.6million.

The company has also expanded its workforce, and employs a core staff of over 600 at its four plants, Perth, Aberfeldy and two in Cupar where the company is based. Numbers increase to 700 during the summer season.
