The Society has put together a programme designed to entertain and inform.

The opening session starts with president Ian Hargreaves discussing linen stock requirements. Gordon Rawson of GR Agencies examines linen distribution and John Varley of Autovalet describes systems for uniform distribution.

A speaker from NHS Estates has now become almost a tradition. This year Paul Cryer points to “The Way Forward” to open the Wednesday session. Consultant Cliff Price updates delegates on “Best practice”.

Jim Gold of Richard Haworth discusses what determines the best buy in textiles and Roger Belfield of Carrington Workwear examines developments in barrier fabrics.

On the Thursday, Ron Guy of Electrolux outlines the ” European Approach to Laundering”, Richard Neale of Laundry and Drycleaning Technology Centre and LCN contributor, explains how to address contract monitoring, and John Duffy of the East Kent Laundry Service puts “A case for linen rental”.

In the closing sessions Phil Liversidge of Airdale General Hospital details “A case for return to sender” and Christine Richardson of Satra discusses training for the future.

Evening entertainment includes a casino evening hosted by Hainsworth and the gala dinner.
