Sponsored by HJ Weir, Ideal Manufacturing, Tonrose and Bryant Plastics, and supported by CINET and The Guild of Cleaners and Launderers, the LCN Awards 2018 dinner and ceremony will be attended by the movers and shakers of the UK's textile care market and we are getting ever closer to the BIG EVENT.
The LCN Awards in this, the third year of the highly successful scheme has attracted more entries of an exceptionally high calibre and of great diversity than ever before.
And so, the stage is near to being set for the event of the year, the LCN Awards 2018 dinner and ceremony – which has firmly established itself as the dazzling highlight in the textile service industry’s calendar. Thursday, 27 September at the Hilton Metropole, Birmingham, is the evening we celebrate real achievement across the textile care industry.
Industry events are incredibly important for making and maintaining networks and the LCN Awards offers an ideal opportunity to make new connections and expand existing business relationships in a relaxed and celebratory atmosphere.
Our headline sponsors have a few words to say about the event:
Ross Weir MD of HJ Weir says: “It is a tremendous event and we had great feedback to it…It is great to put something back into the industry and we support those who have done so well."
Tonrose MD Paul Haden adds: “I have been on both sides if the fence in the industry and this is absolutely one of the best things we can support – and we get to spend time with the industry as well.”
Jackie Bryant of Bryant Plastics also comments: “We supply some fabulous companies and the vast majority of the companies on the LCN shortlist are supplied by us…we want to celebrate that and our part in their success.”
Phillip Kalli of Ideal says: “It's important to recognise the people working in our industry who go that extra mile. We’re committed to the laundry industry and proud to promote best practice in it.”
This year’s event promises to bigger and better than ever. “We have outgrown two venues in just two years,” says Chris Milton, publishing, sales and events director of LCN, “and this year we move into our largest venue yet. The Birmingham Metropole is a stunning venue that attracts many major events and we are very pleased to be able to welcome out guests there.” He adds that the venue is also in more central location than London which makes it easier for people from all over the UK to travel there.
We would love to see you there. For more details and to book a table contact Chris Milton on chris.milton@compelo.com or phone him on 020 8269 7825.
