Marcus Townsend has joined the national sales team of Kannegiesser UK, at its Banbury headquarters in Oxfordshire, with effect from 1 April 2016. He was previously with the Supertrack design team at Kannegiesser UK, also in Banbury.
Townsend, 38, joined the Kannegiesser Company in April 2006 as a trainee Supertrack design engineer after qualifying as a BTec Engineer at Leamington and Warwick College and serving for six years as an auto-cad development engineer.
During his 10-year career at Supertrack, Townsend spent a year at the headquarters of the Kannegiesser company at Vlotho in Germany, where he supported major international clients of Kannegiesser in several overseas markets for the Supertrack division.
Townsend will be working with the experienced team already in place in Banbury to develop his wider experience in the comprehensive laundry automation business.
