Martin Gregson of Johnson said that while its own training provisions are comprehensive and mirror the Q-Star scheme, the company wanted to have the qualifications of its staff independently verified. Guild president Anne Parris said " It’s wonderful to see the Johnson Group recognise that Q-Star is the way forward." She told LCN that the Guild now had some 170 Q-star holders, but that they were mainly in London and the South East. The workers from Johnsons would join in their own right not as part of a group, but with such a large number of participants, the scheme would now gain national coverage.
Johnson Group helps workers take Q-Stars
