Technology is changing the way in which guest experience is measured in the hotel sector. Chatbots, vocal assistants, artificial intelligence, apps, dynamic hotel pricing, revenue management systems and new software tools are having an important impact on guest experience and tourism. These are some of the highlights on offer at Hotel 2017, in the Startup Village within the exhibition on 16-19 October, and at the Communication Forum on Monday 16 October.

The Hotel 2017 Startup Village is an area dedicated to 10 selected startups, which will have the opportunity to take part in the hotel industry event in Trentino Alto Adige. The region has over 30million overnight stays per year and 10,000 accommodation facilities, and is ranked third in Italy by number of overnight stays (only Venice and Rome have more).
