The competition attracted entries from universities in Great Britain, Germany, Hungary and Finland and the brief was to produce a range of corporate clothing for Sodexho OY, the Finnish subsidiary of the food and facilities management company. The range had to include garments for managers, chefs and kitchen assistants, transport staff and cleaners and also provide maternity designs.

As a sponsor, Klopman supplied students with an extensive range of specialised fabrics and supporting materials. Klopman International president and ceo, Giuseppe Rodino was one of the judging panel which also included Jukka Roiha, Lindstrom president and ceo, and Sodexho Oy managing director Kirsi Aaltio.
