Girbau UK’s Industrial team has further strengthened its sales operation with the appointment of Jay Smith as business development manager.
Smith has more than 13 years’ experience of working in the laundry industry most recently at Wilson Electrics, where he enjoyed roles in both sales and operations functions.
In his new role, Smith will work with the existing sales, technical, installation and customer support team of Girbau UK’s Industrial division and be supporting the sale of the company’s full range of Girbau and Lavatec industrial laundry equipment including HS-6 Series washer extractors, ED Series dryers and PB Series and Compact ironers. He will concentrate on helping small and medium sized laundries looking for new equipment to grow the scale and enhance the profitability of their operations.
Richard Brown, industrial division sales manager at Girbau UK said: “The sustained growth that Girbau’s Industrial division has enjoyed in the last year means that we need to enlarge the sales team to support the full range of Girbau and Lavatec equipment we offer.
