Last week the Guild of Cleaners and Launderers (GCL) and The Worshipful Company of Launderers (WCL) aired the latest in its monthly joint series of online joint textile care seminars with invited speaker Gareth Rees, senior lecturer on upholstery restoration at a training facility in Henley-on-Thames.

If you missed the presentation here is your chance to see Gareth Rees deliver what chair ken Cupitt describes as “a brilliant talk on the history of furniture from the Pharaohs of Egypt to the 20th century. Whatever your tastes are in ‘Furniture To Sit On’ it was fascinating to see and listen to the creation and development of something that could be taken for granted.  Something different from our usual technical monthly features.”

Please see the link below for the recording of last Tuesday's online seminar.
