Salvati was recently appointed president of the Assofornitori, the association of suppliers to the textile care industry, and therefore decided to resign as exhibition president, even though he had not completed his term of office. The board also resigned to allow the next president to begin his term with a fresh staff.
Renzacci’s election as president was unanimous and he will be supported by Livo Vittorio Bassan of Christeyns Italy, who was elected both for his managerial skills and because his expertise in industrial laundries complements Renzacci’s in drycleaning.
The other members of the board are Roberto Colombo of Scal, Felice Mapelli of Trevil, Luciano Miotto of Imesa, Ugo Sala of Ecolab and Giovanni Salvati of Masa.
