Nast’s main aim will be to strengthen efforts to promote the textile services industry and ETSA’s role in the European legislative process

He said “Although our industry has proved very successful over recent decades, the awareness of workwear and washroom hygiene being rented is not yet that significant.

“The global players are now persistently asking for a full range of services and efficient outsourcing solutions. But small-and-medium-sized companies still lack information. It is our ambition to communicate clearly the advantages of professional laundrying and hygiene care outsourcing: whether for image, cost efficiencies or for employee health and safety.”

Nast, takes over from Thomas Krautschneider who becomes vice-president while Rob van den Akker, takes over as treasurer.

The three will be strongly supported by, firstly, a board of directors, and secondly by a small team of specialists of European Affairs in Brussels.
