Electrolux Professional has announced the launch of its new Line 6000 TD6-11 heat pump tumble dryer, with the appliance serving as the latest addition to its portfolio of sustainable professional drying solutions. The company is on stand J90 in Hall 8 at Texcare 2024 in Frankfurt.
Thanks to the Smart Energy Management feature, an innovative combination of an inverter-driven compressor and electronic valve within the heat pump unit, the TD6-11 can offer comparable drying times to top-end vented tumble dryers, with the ability to dry a 9kg load in just 38 minutes.
The tumble dryer joins the small-to-medium range category of Line 6000 heat pump tumble dryers and complements the current TD6-7, TD6-14 and TD6-20 models. With a drum volume of 200 litres and dry weight capacity of 11 kg, it is the ideal solution for multi-housing, apartment laundries, campsites, launderettes and many more.
The appliance has been engineered to help deliver best-in-class performance while still promoting a seamless user experience. The TD6-11’s eco-drying program, which is the first of its kind on an Electrolux Professional dryer, can provide a total of 68% energy savings versus a standard vented model. The dryer also offers water savings of between 8-10l per cycle compared with the older generation with water cooling, resulting in a lifetime reduction of over 300,000l.
Like all Electrolux Professional heat pump dryers, it maintains a prestigious four-star rating for physical and cognitive operator-machine interaction from ErgoCert, the first internationally accredited Body for Ergonomic Certification.
The TD6-11 also comes equipped with a host of intelligent features to help maintain peak performance and streamline usage. The Smart Energy Management function, for example, uses an electronic valve and invertor technology to optimise temperature throughout the drying cycle. In turn, this allows energy efficiency to be maximised.
The Cold&Fast feature also allows the TD6-11 to deliver the same energy-efficient performance throughout the day, where other heat pump systems can take time to warm up. Here, the TD6-11 is able to offer excellent performance from an ambient temperature of 10°C.
Maintenance is simple with an easy-to-clean, three filter system. This reduces the need for service callouts and ensures that the appliance remains in peak working order for years to come, enabling hassle-free operation and maximizsng product lifespan.
Paul Frost, country manager UK & Ireland at Electrolux Professional said: “Following the arrival of the TD6-11, businesses of all sizes can capitalise on the environmental and economic benefits offered by our comprehensive range of high-performance, efficient drying solutions.
“The TD6-11 has been designed to deliver outstanding performance while also making significant strides to reduce environmental impact – it is simply the optimal drying solution in its size category. Above all, its versatility makes it perfect for a variety of businesses, including launderettes, on premises laundries, multi-occupancy housing, and much more.”
