Beaulieu, a principal and president of the Institute for Trend Research, previously addressed the 2007 conference of TCATA, which represents manufacturers and distributors of commercial laundry and drycleaning equipment and supplies.
Taking as his theme “the recovery – how long and how fast”, he will examine short- and long-term economic forecasts for the USA and international markets, economic indicators, inflation and interest rates – and will describe how these forecasts could directly affect textile care companies.
The chairman of TCATA’s business programme committee, Tony Regan of American Dryer Corporation, said that the conference programme will also include an overview of key legislative and regulatory issues by Jade West of the National Association of Wholesaler/Distributors and a presentation by best-selling author Joachim de Posada on the need to succeed in a rapidly changing world.
