Ecolab has renewed its partnership with Dutch water treatment company Wientjens. A five-year agreement confirms Ecolab as the Wientjens’ exclusive partner until 2018.
The two companies have been successfully working together for 15 years and Sam De Boo, general manager for Ecolab’s Textile Care division in Europe, said the partnership combines his company’s understanding of laundry processes with Wientjens’ engineering expertise to help laundries reduce their total water and energy consumption. He added that both companies looked forward to a further five years of fruitful collaboration
Ecolab has already completed more than 500 water and energy projects delivering total savings equivalent to EUR 15million per year. Gerry Wientjens, managing director of the Dutch company, said that Wientjens equipment had made an important contribution to these, adding that there are still lots of opportunities to help laundries save operational costs by reducing their water and energy consumption.
