In a statement on 9 September, Ecolab said that Dober’s commercial laundry business had 2009 sales of about $37million.
Douglas Baker Jr, Ecolab’s chairman, president and CEO said that the deal would strengthen Ecolab’s commercial laundry business in North America. It provides unique data management and wastewater treatment technologies and offers better value and service to Ecolab’s customers. The acquisition would also improve Ecolab’s return on its investment in textile care and help to develop new business.
