The Drycleaning & Laundry Institute has shot a promotional video to show the benefits of membership in the 107-year-old professional trade association for successful drycleaners.

The professionally produced video runs just over three minutes and highlights benefits such as governmental advocacy, networking, training and education and access to DLI’s wealth of information and laboratories.

The video features several drycleaner members as well DLI staff including CEO Mary Scalco, director of membership Jon Meijer, director of education & analysis Brian Johnson and analyst Jim Kirby.

Scalco said: "We wanted to explain clearly what we do for drycleaners and the video achieves this in just a few minutes."

Shooting took place in Laurel, Maryland at DLI’s School of Drycleaning Technology. Interviews with members and staff were conducted at an off-site location turned into a sound stage for the production.
