The revised guidance is due to be published on 4 October 2010 and from that date will become the statutory guidance on the Best Available Techniques for the drycleaning industry.
The revision is part of a broader six-year review to update Pollution Prevention and Control (PPC) process guidance (PG) notes.
The Secretary of State’s Guidance for Dry Cleaning, Draft Process Guidance Note 6/46 (10), has been drawn up in consultation with a Technical Working Group of industry and local authority representatives.
