Ludger von Schoenebeck, managing director of the German Certification Association for Professional Textile Services presented the RAL certificate to Josef Duben the laundry’s processing manager and Denis Matthey, general manager Czech Republic ad Slovakia at the parent company Rentokil-Initial.

RAL 992 is the leading quality control system for commercial laundries with stringent standards for both quality and hygiene.

The mark is only awarded by the association to laundries that can prove compliance with essential test requirements and this is monitored by regular inspections during normal operation.

The audit for the Kralupy plant was carried out by the Hohenstein Institute at the request of Rainer Paul, textiles supply chain director Europe at

Rentokil-Initial.

Initial Ecotex has run the Kralupy plant for over two years. It has about 40 employees to process workwear and protective clothing. As a first stage the company has concentrated on gaining RAL certification for its work for the food-processing sector.
