The Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network (CRDN) has released a new version of its mobile phone app. The app is part of over US$1.5million of ongoing IT infrastructure improvements and developments within the CRDN global network.
The laundry and textile restoration service must provide feedback quickly and accurately to insurance partners, said Steve Tarbard CRDN’s operations manager (pictured). The old version of the app had limited functionality in the UK, although it worked completely in the USA, where the CRDN business was founded.
"With the new version we can now upload photos from a loss site and this means we can get the information far quicker to the insurance company, and that in turn means quicker decisions and less waiting for the householder," said Tarbard.
CRDN franchisees benefit from waiting shorter period to commence work and, as a result, turnaround time is reduced.
