Leading independent hospitality laundry provider CLEAN has appointed Nigel Butterworth as its new customer operations director. Reporting directly to Clean CEO Jason Miller, Butterworth will be responsible for delivering a customer-focused operating platform from the business.
In his new role, Butterworth will lead the site directors and group operations team to help them continue to improve service delivery from Clean's seven laundry production facilities and meet necessary operational KPIs.
An officer with the Royal Navy for 13 years, he left the forces in 2001 to work for Mars as factory operations manager. He has since held senior leadership roles with Allied Bakeries, Unilever, Agrivert and Bakkavor. He joins Clean from fresh food supplier Bakkavor where he was head of site operations at Bakkavor Meals London.
