Walk-in trucks are considered the vehicle of choice for many laundry and linen fleets because they allow the driver walk-in access to a large, adaptable cargo space. The truck’s durable aluminium body is another advantage.
Workhorse truck loadspaces range from 9 to 18ft, with a variety of options for laundry and linen fleets including uniform racks, rug loops, shelving, “E” track tie-down racks, and ventilation systems.
Workhorse chassis come with General Motors drivetrains in GVWRs from 8600 to 16000 lb with wheelbases from 110 to 178 in. Diesel and GM Vortec gasoline engines are offered. From August, Cummins ISB4 diesel engines will be an option on some models.
