The report: “Professional Textile Care Services in five Years; Chances and Challenges” shows that although many European retail PTC businesses are facing tough times, the industry will have a profitable future if it adapts its range of services to suit the modern consumer.

Businesses should consider adding services such as “pick-up” and “drop-off”, online support, “green” cleaning and services for business customers. The study concludes that adopting this approach will modernise the industry and make it much more customer-centred that it is at present.
