The World Congress & Best Practices Awards 24 event on 8-9 November, in the Europe Hall, Messe Frankfurt, is expected to be a spectacular event, says Cinet, with hundreds of visitors and participants from 55 countries networking with like-minded international textile care professionals. All have a common objective: getting new business ideas and starting international cooperation. Here’s what to expect:
8 NOVEMBER
At 08.00 the delegates assemble and are welcomed by the moderator Mischa van den Broeck to join the opening ceremony. Ten esteemed professionals will do a three-minute pitch on PTC highlights from their own perspective, facilitating further discussions and personal encounters. These are followed by key-note speakers Professor Dr Heimann on sustainability /circularity opportunities for textile care professionals and Sanjay Sauldie M.Sc. on the use of artificial intelligence, now and in the future. The morning session will be concluded with international suppliers sharing their visions on available technologies in the (near) future.
Personal encounters
The programme has been specially designed to facilitate a lot of personal contact for national associations, professional textile care companies, international suppliers, consultants and experts. This includes introductions on stage, combined with informal talks in sessions with international professionals.
Inspiring interactive talks
In the afternoon, with the help of experienced moderators, the organisation has planned six Interactive round table talks on the following topics:

Hygienically Clean Textile Service
There will be brief introductions from moderators and opinions and the views of five or six experts, covering insights and practical suggestions on how to support and extend business development. These sessions will be streamed in 11 languages.
20 PTC country reports
Co-hosts of the event have prepared country reports to provide an open impression on current market characteristics, new initiatives of associations and companies to support business development and visions on new opportunities. Sharing these insights is expected to stimulate international networking and new business developments.
Meet and greet
At 17.00 all participants of the Global Best Practices Awards 24 will be introduced by the individual country coordinators and this will be followed by cocktails and a delegate dinner.

Global Best Practices Awards 24
Participants, finalists & official nominees, as well as visitors are welcome for an exciting day of 48 pitch Presentations of finalists in the Categories Retail-Sme, Retail-Big and Industrial Textile Services. The best showcases in the world will be presenting their innovations and new services to grow businesses in fast changing markets. The kick-off will be by the industrial textile services (ITS) companies.
Innovations and new technologies
At the end of the morning, international suppliers will present their latest new products and services, designed to support business development, comprising new chemicals, cleaning methodologies, new machineries and systems, IT solutions, and so on.
Retail showcases (RTC)
After the break, the retail pitches will be presented, first by the RTC-Sme companies followed by the RTC-Big companies. These presentations can be followed online in 11 languages.
Prestigious awards
For all categories, prestigious awards await including certificates for all confirmed participants, country awards, special awards, life time awards, entrepreneur awards and, of course, the sustainability, innovation and overall awards per category. These are provided to the companies, who are given the highest scores by the 20-25-person international jury.
Flag ceremony
CINET’s famous flag ceremony has gained a lot of appreciation worldwide in the past 10 years. All winners are respected and valued for their performances in the PTC industry. The country coordinators have made this happen by their great contribution in liaising with the participants. The overall country winner will carry their national flag to the podium as they represent their country.
