Bauwens, who has 26 years experience of working with the European laundry, joined the group on 1 January. As vice president of laundry operations, Europe, he will be responsible for looking after the operational side of the business in all 20 European countries where Christeyns is represented.
On 1 February, van Amerongen joined Christeyns as business development director for major group accounts. He has been in the laundry business since 1985 and in recent years has been particularly involved with water and energy management systems.
He will report to vice president of corporate accounts Charles Betteridge.
