The finance director and the HR manager of laundry chemicals manufacturer Christeyns, have both been shortlisted for the Yorkshire Women in Business Awards.

Julie Roberts, who joined Bradford-based Christeyns in 2006 originally as financial accountant, is in the running to win the award for the Woman of the Year Medium Business category whilst HR manager Sarah Dufton has been shortlisted for the Rising Star award.

Barclays Celebrating Women in Business Awards, now in its third year, aims to recognise successful women and businesses who have excelled in their specific business, profession or organisation. The essence of the awards is to discover and reward exceptional women who, through leadership, entrepreneurialism, and mentoring skills stand out from their colleagues.

All award finalists will be invited to a presentation lunch on Friday, 23 June 2017 to be held at Bowcliffe Hall, near Wetherby.
