BASF has developed a new solution for low temperature liquid laundry detergents to help detergent manufacturers achieve higher wash performance levels at lower temperature. Aimed at the industrial and institutional cleaning industries as well as home care, BASF describes its protease Lavergy Pro 104 L as a high-performance alternative to established market standards in liquid laundry detergents, especially at low washing temperatures between 20-30C.
Introduced at the SEPAWA Congress 2016 in Fulda, Germany on October 12-14, BASF said that Lavergy Pro 104 L has been proven in independent tests by the Hohenstein Institute to enable superior removal of specific stains such as egg, blood, and milk types.
