In a statement, the company said the resignation is part of the strategic review announced at the annual general meeting in July. Marsh will continue to work with Alexandra until the end of October, and will help the company explain the review to shareholders and also assist with the transfer of responsibilities to his successor.
A potential new chairman has been identified and will be announced by the end of September, the company added.
